5 Star Knockout slot from Northern Lights has some really interesting features that, in theory, sound great. I think the bonus is very unique (excluding their other title All Star Knockout), and it sets the slot apart from most competitors. The bonus is a bit hit or miss though, because you can trigger it and remove the high-value symbols, which will still help you trigger more wins as there are less symbols, but they won’t be very valuable. Even with a 5x multiplier payouts are reasonably low. All in all, I think there’s a lot of potential here and I really like some of the concepts, but the execution could be better and payouts could be much higher to make it more enticing.
