- A 5×3 Pragmatic Play slot with 10 paylines and a 96.71% RTP
- Five modifiers to choose from before the free spins start
- Fisherman Wilds that collect fish money in the bonus
Big Bass Christmas Bash takes the Big Bass fishing series to a frozen lake in the snow. Pragmatic Play announced it in November 2023 as the twelfth game in the series, and it was made with Reel Kingdom.
Base Game
The game is set on a snowy lake, a little like a winter ice fishing trip. It uses a 5×3 grid with 10 paylines. Symbols include snow ploughs, tackle boxes and candy cane fishing rods, and the RTP is 96.71%.
Three or more Scatters on any spin start the free spins with at least 10 games. If only two Scatters land and they have room to nudge down one place, they lock in place for a respin that could bring a third. A hook can also appear and pull down a reel to show a third Scatter.

Bonus Modifiers
Before the free spins begin, there are chances to change the round with five different modifiers:
- More fish
- More fishermen
- More dynamite
- Two extra free spins
- Starting the round at level two, with a x2 multiplier
Free Spins
In the bonus, the fisherman is a Wild. When he lands on the same spin as fish money symbols, he collects all of their cash values. If fish land without a fisherman, the dynamite, hook or bazooka features can trigger and place one on the reels to collect the cash.
Every four Wilds you collect retriggers the round with 10 more free spins and adds a multiplier, starting at x2. The bonus buy option is not available to UK players.
Overall
Big Bass Christmas Bash keeps the usual Big Bass formula but adds a choice of modifiers before the bonus, which gives the free spins more variety. If you want the original festive version, read our Christmas Big Bass Bonanza review.
