- A fun, well-designed slot with good features
- Regular wild symbols on every spin
- Free bonus leads to lots of sticky wilds
Red Tiger have decided to create a bull-fighting slot that I can’t help but notice resembles the Wild Toro slots from PlayNGo quite a bit. That said, I do prefer the look of the PlayNGo games as they appear more fun and friendly. This one is less cartoonish and sets you inside a great stadium. You have a set of 5 reels with 3 rows and these offer you 20 pay lines. All you need is a winning combination from left to right using the base symbols. These are as follows, ranked in ascending order based on their value:
- 10
- Jack
- Queen
- King
- Ace
- Fan
- Guitar
- Woman
- Man
There’s a wild too that substitutes for all other symbols in a winning combination apart from the scatter. It’s shown as the bull.
Bulls Run Wild Slot Bonuses and Features
Wild Bulls. At the top of the reels, you’ll notice on each a spin a symbol will appear. This randomly chosen symbol will determine which symbols turn wild on the spin. For example, if it’s the woman then all women symbols that land on that spin will become wilds instead.
Free Spins Bonus. Like most games, this one is triggered by landing 3 scatter symbols, on reel 1, 3 and 5. This will give you 9 free spins. The bonus here is quite simple; all wild symbols that land will become sticky until the end of the bonus. Scatters cannot land during the bonus so there’s no way to retrigger it.
Conclusion
Bulls Run Wild slot from Red Tiger is clearly a pretty simple game, but the features work very well and the free spins bonus can really help to rack up lots of wilds. Combined with the wild picker, it’s easy to land plenty of wilds and keep them in place, and 9 spins is quite generous here I think. The base game is quite fun too as the wild picker is active on each spin and can still work well on its own. Unfortunately, as is it encase with many Red Tiger slots, the volatility is quite high yet the maximum win potential is low at just 1,888x your stake. I really don’t understand why they do this as it turns what could be a great slot into a mediocre one. If you can look past the low win potential there’s some fun to be had here but just bear it in mind.
