Cabaret Royale slot is a new game from 2by2 Gaming. It’s an interesting slot in various ways which I’ll come onto shortly. As the name suggests, this is a cabaret-themed slot with lots of glamour and wealth on show. It’s a bit like the movie The Great Gatsby and we’ve seen quite a few slots like this in the past. I think they work well and aren’t too overused, at least not yet. The reel layout here is unusual with 8 reels in total, but 3 of these are stacked on top of each other while the other 2 are 6 positions high at the side. It ties in well with the features as we’ll see shortly. All you really need to know for now is that by spinning the reels you can get a win from left to right using the base symbols. These are listed as follows, ranked in ascending order based on their value:

These symbols will pay for wins of 3, 4 or 5 symbols along a payline. However, there are a couple of other symbols in the game. One of these is the Wild symbol which will substitute for all other symbols in a winning combination apart from the Scatter symbol. It also pays itself when in a combination of 3 or more, even more so than the Woman symbol. Then there’s the Scatter symbol which is also the most valuable symbol in the game. It can only appear on reels 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, and pays in any position.

Stacked Symbols. On reels 1 and 8, certain symbols can be stacked up to 6 positions high, while the other reels can have certain stacked symbols up to 3 positions high. The Wild, Woman and Man symbols can all be stacked. This isn’t bad as these are the most valuable symbols in the game.If the Wild symbol is fully stacked on reels 1 or 8, it will be copied to the other 6 tall reel. Wild symbols can also land on any other reels.
Encore Feature. This feature can trigger randomly during the base game after a win of 5x total bet or more. During the feature, you’ll be given 2x the win amount.

You have a very unique reel setup which is almost like 2 slots on top of each other. There are a few good features which use this layout which I like, but the Free Spins Bonus is the most attractive offering for me. I like how you can choose from a variety of features, and these are all pretty appealing.
