Cash Of Kingdoms Slot
- A fun, new game from Slingshot Studios with good features
- Free spins and extra Wilds are on offer for better wins
- Relatively low variance with regular payouts
Cash of Kingdoms slot is a new game from Slingshot Studios that offers lots of Wilds, free spins and even some multipliers. It does so in a way that is supposed to be fun and offer some great rewards on a regular basis. How well this works will be discussed more below when I go into all the features the game has to offer.
One thing I’ve started to notice is that slots these days really seem to struggle coming up with good names. Cash of Kingdoms is a great example (as is the recently reviewed Holly Molly Hole slot), but surely all the good names haven’t been taken already? Anyway, onto the more important stuff. Let’s talk about the look of this game, which is pretty simple overall but has some really nice colours and a nice, clear layout. For me that’s plenty. Even though I appreciate it when companies go all out to create a stunning slot with lots of animations, it’s not always required. Playing the game is also simple with the simple 5×3 layout and 15 paylines (which isn’t overly generous). Your job is to spin the reels to get a winning combination from left to right using the base symbols. These are listed as follows, ranked in ascending order based on their value:
- Bag (lowest value)
- Explosive Barrel
- Bow and Arrow
- Sword and Shield
- Blue Woman
- Green Man
- Yellow Woman
- Orange Man
- Red Man (highest value)
Cash Of Kingdoms Slot Bonuses and Features
In addition to the base symbols there is also a Scatter symbol and a Wild symbol. The Scatter is used to trigger a bonus as you’ll see shortly, but also pays 2x your total bet staked. Scatter wins are added to your payline wins and pay in any position. The Wild symbol, as you might expect, substitutes for all other symbols in a winning combination apart from the Scatter symbol to hopefully give you a better chance of some wins. It will appear only on reels 2, 3 and 4.
Stacked Wilds. During the base game, the Wild symbols are actually stacked on reels 2 and 4. What that means is the entire reel will fill with Wild symbols to give you much better odds of a win. During the Free Spins Bonus, the Wilds are super stacked on reels 2 and 4. What this means is that if you turn both reels 2 and 4 completely Wild, reel 3 will turn completely Wild and also double your wins.
Invading Wilds. If you do manage to land a full stack of symbols on reels 2 or 4, it will ‘invade’ an adjacent reel and turn it completely Wild. However, if you manage to land stacked symbols on both reels 2 and 4, this will turn reel 3 into completely stacked Wilds. In doing so you significantly increase your chances of getting some wins.
Free Spins Bonus. As mentioned earlier, 3 Scatter symbols will trigger the Free Spins Bonus and give you 10 free spins. There’s not much special about the free spins here apart from the super stacked reels that are available. You can, however, win additional free spins by landing another Scatter symbol.
Cash of Kingdoms slot from Slingshot Studios (Microgaming) is a fairly simple but new game that focuses mostly on providing lots of Wilds and even some multipliers for bigger wins. I have to admit that during testing it worked very well, with Wilds appearing quite regularly on reels 2 and 4 so that they were stacked, and this in turn provides additional Wilds which often contributed to decent wins. We didn’t manage to get any huge wins, but the overall payout was impressive and also fun to play. This ties in nicely with the design which is entertaining but also nice and clear and reminds me a lot of a video game. So unless you’re after some huge payouts or jackpots, I think Cash of Kingdoms slot is an impressive game offering good rewards on a pretty regular basis and I highly recommend it.
