While the design may be very glamorous and fancy, it’s a bit of a shame that the graphics aren’t top notch to really show this off. They’re not bad, don’t get me wrong, but when you’re trying to draw someone in by going for a high-end look, the graphics really need to hold up and unfortunately I don’t think they really do. The soundtrack here is OK although I’m not a big fan and would probably prefer it just turned off. When it comes to playing the game, we have a very basic 5×3 layout with a pretty low 94.12% which is quite disappointing and naturally may put some players off. There are just 15 paylines here as well. Your aim is to get a winning combination using the base symbols from left to right in order to win cash or a bonus. These base symbols are listed as follows, ranked in ascending order based on their value:
- Yellow Cat or Pink Cat (lowest value)
- Blue Cat or Green Cat
- Scatter
- Cash
- Necklace
- Gold Bars
- Wild (highest value)
The Wild symbol, as well as being by the far most valuable symbol in a winning combination, also substitutes for all other symbols apart from the Bonus and Scatter symbol and doubles all wins.
The Scatter symbols multiplies all wins by the total bet that was staked and are added to the payline wins.
Cats and Cash Slot Bonuses and Features
Wheel of Fortune. This is triggered by 3 or more Wheel of Fortune Bonus symbols appearing on a payline from left to right and works exactly how you’d imagine. A lovely lady cat will spin the wheel giving you a chance to win some big cash prizes that are displayed on different segments of the wheel. If you’re lucky you might land on an orange segment with stars on it that will give you not just a cash prize but also a respin. You can win up to 5,000x your bet per line during this bonus.
Pick-a-Gift. This bonus is activated by 3 or more Bonus symbols in the form of a parcel landing on a winning payline from left to right. You’ll be taken to a screen with different parcels lined up, essentially the same as Deal or no Deal. You must choose a gift and then see what you could have won before your prize is revealed. While it doesn’t have quite the same reward potential as Wheel of Fortune, you can still win up to 2,000x your bet per line.
Conclusion
So that’s that from Play N’ Go. Cats and Cash slot is trying to combine cats and glamour to create an enticing and rewarding slot that will hopefully appeal to a large audience. It attempts to do so with it’s glamorous design, featuring lots of sparkle and well-dressed characters, even if they are cats. More than the design though, the features in this game are supposed to be fun and rewarding which they are, but I would have liked to have seen a bit more. One or 2 in-game features, just something simple, would have been great to see but unfortunately there aren’t any. It’s also bit strange that there’s a Scatter symbol here which doesn’t actually lead to a bonus but I’m not really complaining. Overall, I actually quite like this slot. It can pay out pretty big and I do like the theme, even though I’m definitely more of a dog person myself. It’s worth giving it a go and seeing what you think though, you might just make some good money from it.
