Starting with the theme, it’s a Chinese-style theme but with an original take. There are a couple of main characters here, Chi and Mow, who each offer features which are further enhanced with free spins, but I’ll come onto that in more detail shortly. There’s an unusual layout here, with 3 reels and 5 rows, compared to what we normally see which is the other way around. There are 54 ways to win here, and all you need to do is get a winning combination from left to right along one of these to get a cash reward. You do this using the base symbols, listed as follows in ascending order based on their value:

Chi Feature. Chi is the fire spirit and will award you between 1 and 6 Wild symbols if she hits. During free spins, the Wilds hit by Chi become sticky to give you the potential for a lot more wins.

Conclusion
Chi slot from Elk Studios has an interesting take on the Chinese theme which can be a bit overdone. It has a couple of likeable characters, and these can both offer you a few features which can be quite rewarding. They become more interesting when you have some free spins, especially the sticky Wilds which, when combined with 20 free spins, can see you get quite a few wins. The other Bonus can be quite rewarding too with some big wins on offer. This is a high variance slot so wins tend to be fairly infrequent but can pay out a lot. The RTP of 96% isn’t bad either.
