Whenever a wild symbol appears, it will climb to the top of the reel it landed on once payouts have been made. It will then be collected above the reel until you have a total of 4 on that reel. Once you have 4 of them on the tree, they will drop down on the reel below before payouts are made. If other reels also have 4 koalas above them, they can all fall during the same spin. This feature is available during both the free spins bonus and the base game.
Free Spins Bonus. For this you need to land 3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols anywhere on the reels at the same time. This will give you 10, 15 or 25 free spins, respectively. Unfortunately, there isn’t really anything special about this free spins bonus. As I already mentioned, the wild drop feature is still in play here, but there’s nothing different about it.
Conclusion
Playtech have created a fun and unique design with Fear The Bear slot and it has great potential, but I really think they’ve missed the mark. The wild drop feature is cool and pretty fun, but the main bonus, the free spins bonus, is very lacking. They haven’t added anything special for the free spins which makes them dull and rather unrewarding. The payouts on offer with this slot in general are disappointingly low, and I can’t really recommend this slot to anyone. It’s a real shame that a fun concept like this has been wasted; I’d recommend some other Playtech slots like this one instead.
