Super Wild Feature. Lucha Legends slot also features a Wild symbol as most games do, but this particular one has some interesting properties. As you would expect, it substitutes for all other symbols in a winning combination apart from the Scatter symbol. However, when part of a win during the base game it will turn into a Super Wild. This Super Wild symbol can have 2 different effects; it can turn 2 adjacent symbols into Wild symbols also, or it can multiply wins that involve the symbol by either 2x or 3x. Note that during the Free Spins Bonus, both winning and non-winning Wild symbols will trigger the Super Wild feature if the Super Wild would, in fact, result in a win, and Super Wilds replace all symbols apart from the Wild symbol and the Scatter symbol These Wild symbols only appear on reels 2, 3 and 4.
Power Up Mode. This game also has a different mode for those who choose it called Power Up Mode which will also change the appearance of the reels slightly. This will double your bet, and once activated, you will increase your chances of triggering the Super Wild Feature and also boost it. 4 adjacent symbol positions will turn Wild, and Super Wild wins will be multiplied by 3x or 5x.
Free Spins Bonus. This is a very standard Free Spins Bonus which is triggered by 3 Scatter symbols appearing on reels 1, 3 and 5 simultaneously. You will be given 10 free spins to start with, but if you land an additional Scatter symbol you can win another free spin. If you’re lucky enough to land another 3 Scatter symbols, you’ll be awarded with another 10 free spins. The main thing to remember about this bonus is it’s effect on the Super Wild Feature as I mentioned earlier. The reels are different during the bonus, and Super Wilds cannot trigger on the same spin that triggered the Free Spins Bonus.

Lucha Legends slot is definitely an exciting concept and looks great. The theme is brilliant whether you’re a fan of wrestling or not, and the overall vibe from the game is fun. The features are pretty good too I’m pleased to say. I like the Super Wild Feature as it’s different and can result in some nice payouts. The Power Up Mode is OK but as it doesn’t change the value of the symbols despite betting double I don’t really think it’s worth it. The Free Spins Bonus is fairly standard but does work well with the Super Wild Feature. All in all, this is a pretty fun game from Microgaming and pays decently too, so be sure to check it out.
