- A new anime-themed game from PlayNGo
- Each main character has a unique feature
- Build up to 100x multipliers in the main bonus
Moon Princess Power of Love is PlayNGo’s newest anime-themed game. I’m not especially into anime and I know some players won’t be, but I have to admit the designs and graphics are very good. The game plays out on a large 5×5 grid with a pay anywhere system, meaning you need 3 or more matching symbols to be next to each other anywhere on the screen. The base symbols to look out for are as follows:
- Moon, Heart, Ember or Bell
- Any character combination
- Hail
- Blaze
- Love

Moon Princess Power of Love Slot Bonuses and Features
Tumbles. This game uses tumbles, though you may know this type of features by different names like cascades. They all work in the same way usually, removing winning symbols from the screen so that new ones can fall in from above and replace them. This is especially important in this game, as the free spins bonus is only triggered when you clear the grid, but more on that shortly.
Character Powers. Each of the three main characters in this slot have unique features that can trigger randomly on non-winning spins. Love’s feature will convert one set of symbols into another, hopefully creating more wins. Blaze will add 2-4 of the same symbol to the reels that is guaranteed to already be on the screen. Finally, hail will synchronise 2 adjacent reels.
Love Triangle. In this game, whenever you get a win you’ll charge up the love meter which has 3 sections to it. Winning combinations of 3, 4 or 5 will fill the meter up to 1, 2 or 3 sections and at the end of the spin, if you manage to fill the meter, the love triangle is triggered. Here, Love, Blaze and Hail all perform their character powers for a respin and if you manage to clear the screen during the feature, the free spins bonus is triggered.
Free Spins Bonus. When this starts, you’ll get 4 free spins and a growing multiplier is in place. This doesn’t reset between each spin, so you can keep building it up up to a total of 100x. Additionally, you get to choose one of the 3 main characters. Whenever you get a non-winning spin, this character will always perform their feature. Lastly, you can get more free spins by filling up the meter like in the base game, only now it will get you 3 extra free spins, up to a total of 100.
Conclusion
PlayNGo really do enjoy their anime-themed slots; we’ve seen plenty in the past and I’m sure there are more to come. They aren’t for everyone, but they do stand out and are very well designed. This slot offers some familiar features such as each character having their own ability that triggers on a non-winning spin, but I like how the meter works as it’s quite easy to build up unlike some others in different slots. As usual, the main bonus is where the money usually lies thanks to multipliers, offering up to 15,000x your stake. It’s a good slot but I’m not sure everyone will enjoy some aspects of it.
