- A nice-looking slot with good graphics
- Fairly standard game with mystery symbols
- Gamble your winnings to win the main bonus
Mystery Museum slot from Push Gaming has some interesting new features that can make the game appealing to some, especially those who really like to take a gamble as you can use this to your advantage as we’ll soon see.
Design-wise, it’s quite a nice-looking game with good graphics, although it doesn’t really stand out as much as others. You have 5 reels and 3 rows to give you just 10 paylines. To get a win, simply spin the reels to try and get a winning combination from left to right using the base symbols. These are as follows, ranked in ascending order based on their value:
- Runes (lowest value)
- Coin or Eye
- Blue Vase
- Green Vase
- Purple Vase
- Sphynx (highest value)
There’s a wild symbol too, substituting for all other symbols in a winning combination. Furthermore, it’s also a scatter symbol, used to trigger the free spins bonus.

Mystery Museum Slot Bonuses and Features
Mystery Stack Symbol. On any position at random, mystery stacks can land on the reels. IF you get 3 or more of these, they will nudge to fill the reels on which they land and turn into gold after all wins have been paid out. They then turn into the same, randomly chosen symbol apart from the wild symbol. They pay out on all 10 paylines, even if they aren’t next to each other.
Free Spins Bonus. As I mentioned earlier, you need the wild symbol to trigger this, 3 of them anywhere on the reels at the same time in fact. During these free spins, any mystery stack that lands will nudge to fill the reel and turn into a random symbol. They then remain in position for the rest of the bonus.
Power Gamble Feature. This is quite an interesting gamble feature compared with the usual choose a red or black card etc… Here, you can gamble winnings great than or equal to 2x, 5x, 10x, 25x or 50x to either increase your winnings or trigger the main bonus. To do this, you need to gamble up to 100x your stake, at which point you have the option between the two.
Mystery Museum slot from Push Gaming is, for the most part, quite simple and not that new, but it does have one or two interesting aspects that might appeal to some. The base game isn’t very exciting, but the main bonus can work well if you get a good number of mystery symbols early on. To make things more interesting, you can also gamble your way up to try and trigger the bonus more often. If you gamble your winnings up to 100x, you can then either collect, gamble for more of use it to essentially buy the bonus. It’s a new way to getting the bonus that I haven’t seen before, and I quite like it, making it more interesting and giving the impression that you may have got the bonus for a very small amount. Remember, however, that you have still paid for it and not getting 100x your stake or more from the bonus is a loss compared to if you had taken the money. In short, if you like a gamble and like triggering bonuses as often as possible, there’s some real appeal here. If not, you might want to try some of their other titles here.
