- Another addition to the wild series from Elk Studios
- Features include pays both ways and upgrades
- A slight more refined version of previous installments
Nitropolis TV is a welcome addition to the popular series from Elk Studios, this time bringing a little more class and order to what is normally a very chaotic series. I love the design, especially the crazy symbols that they use, and many of the features are fun to play as we’ll soon see. You get to play on a large 6×4 grid that offers 4,-96 ways to win, and sometimes these pay in both directions as we’ll see later on. Typically though, you’ll want to look out for winning combinations from left to right when you spin the reels.
Nitropolis TV Slot Bonuses and Features
Match Up. This feature replaces a random number of low-value symbols with a higher-value symbol or wild symbols.
Both Ways. When activated, this feature allows winning combinations to be evaluated from both left to right and right to left, effectively doubling the chances of forming a win.
Nitro Upgrade. A random number of Nitro Reels are activated or upgraded to contain more symbols.
Nitro Shift. This feature causes a random number of Nitro Reels to swap places, potentially creating new wins.
Bonus Game. This is triggered by landing three or more bonus symbols and awards free spins during which all Nitro Reels become persistent. Each additional bonus symbol appearing during the bonus game grants an extra free spin. A combination of bonus symbols and a super bonus symbol activates the Super Bonus Game, where wins are paid from both from left to right and right to left, and each free spin starts with a Nitro Reel filled with wild symbols.
X-iter. This feature allows you to jump straight into the action with five different game modes, ranging from a 3x bet with more than four times the chance to trigger the bonus, to a 500x bet Super Bonus Game with Both Ways activated and a guaranteed Nitro Reel filled with wilds in every free spin. It’s only available in certain regions as you’d expect.
Conclusion
Elk Studios love a sequel, they’ve got more than I can count and Nitropolis TV is another great addition. Here, Nitro reels have their own row which is an interesting change, and I’d say overall that the slot feels more refined compared to the others. That may or may not be a bad thing depending on what you like, but you can certainly tell there’s a difference. The features are still great though, and the win potential is a solid 10,000x. I’m sure fans of others in the series will be excited to play this one too, but I wouldn’t mind if they went a little crazy with the next slot in the series, assuming they keep it going (and I hope they do!).
