- Similar design and gameplay to Fishin Frenzy
- Payouts are made when wild symbol lands during bonus
- Option to buy 6th reel for better odds
Pirates Frenzy slot from Blueprint is a new game with a familiar title and, well, some very familiar gameplay. I’m of course referring to the ever-popular Fishin Frenzy slot. It wasn’t long ago that Blueprint did a Megaways version of the game, but this time they’ve kept things simple and instead changed the theme. It’s still got the classic design with the paylines shown on the side and the traditional slot sound effect when you spin the reels. If you like the gameplay though but are after a bit of a change then keep reading to find out more.
Blueprint have gone with a similar theme but included pirates this time to spice things up. You still have 5 reels with 3 rows offering 10 paylines, although you can add another row if you choose. To get a win, simply match the base symbols from left to right. These are as follows, ranked in ascending order based on their value:
- 10, Jack, Queen, King or Ace (lowest value)
- Bottle or Oranges
- Pirate (highest value)

Pirates Frenzy Slot Bonuses and Features
Free Spins Bonus. This slot is all about the free spins bonus and it’s where the bigger wins are going to come from. That’s because it activates the additional feature to help you get more money. It works quite simply. The bags of coin, when they appear, will have cash values associated to them. On their own, these mean nothing, but whenever a pirate symbol lands, who is also wild coincidentally, all these values will be collected and awarded to you.
Power Play. To help you get more free spins and more money, you can activate the 6th reel. This does, of course, come at a cost.
Pirates Frenzy slot from Blueprint is basically a new version of Fishin Frenzy, a fairly old but still very popular slot. It allows people to have a bit of a change while keeping the core features the same. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of either slot. The base game is tedious and the free spins bonus just isn’t rewarding enough for me. However, I do appreciate that many enjoy it and it’s a fairly unique concept, even if it’s being repeated here. Having the option to buy another reel might appeal to some although I’m not sure everyone will see the value in it. In short, if you like Fishin Frenzy, you’ll like this slot but if it’s not your thing, you better look elsewhere. You can see more Blueprint slots here.
