- A new game from Blueprint with Jackpot King Deluxe
- A simple design with a theme based on the Greek God Poseidon
- A few basic features that fail to offer significant payouts
Tridentia slot is another Blueprint game which means you also get the popular Jackpot King Deluxe feature with it, connected to their other games for some large jackpots. But of course, Tridentia slot needs to do a lot on its own to make this worthwhile as you can always go elsewhere for the Jackpot feature, so how does it fair?
Let’s start with the design. You’ll notice straight away it’s a pretty simple one that honestly looks like it could have been made over a decade ago. The graphics are pretty poor and there’s nothing that really stands out. The mosaics look quite good I suppose but that’s it. It’s a shame as well because the theme of Poseidon, the great Greek God, should be powerful and energetic. You have 5 reels here with 3 rows, offering a total of 40 paylines. There’s a disappointingly low RTP though of just 93.2% (+ 0.77% from the jackpot) which is much lower than many of the competitors. To get going, just spin the reels to land the base symbols for some wins or features. These are listed as follows, ranked in ascending order based on their value:
- Jack, Queen, King or Ace of a kind (lowest value)
- Silver Coins or Cup
- Poseidon’s Trident or Scatter (highest value)
Tridentia Slot Bonuses and Features
All of the aforementioned symbols pay out in a combination of 3, 4 or 5. However, the Scatter symbol is special because if you manage to land 3 or more of these you’ll trigger the Free Spins Bonus and be awarded with 12 free spins. On top of this, you have a Wild symbol shown as Poseidon himself in all his glory. This is a special symbol though because whenever it appears, it expands to fill the entire reel. Like more Wild symbols, he substitutes for all other symbols in a winning combination apart from the Scatter symbol.
Free Spins Bonus. There are a few special properties in the Free Spins Bonus that you should be aware of. The first is that the Wild symbol is actually used to upgrade other symbols. Every time it appears, it will upgrade symbols into higher value ones to increase your winnings. On top of these, landing 1, 2 or 3 of these symbols will award you with 1, 3 or 5 free spins, respectively.
Jackpot King Deluxe. You may or may not have seen this feature before in other slots but it’s a pretty simple Jackpot feature that could give you a big win if it’s triggered. You don’t have to do anything to trigger it as it’s activated randomly during any spin. You’ll be presented with a special set of reels which you must spin to collect the crowns. The more crowns you collect, the bigger the total bet multiplier will be. You can also choose from the Kings Treasure in order to increase your reward. Finally, enter the Wheel King for a chance at winning a progressive pot.
Tridentia slot is a very simple game from Blueprint with a focus on free spins and improved symbols for better payouts. While we’ve seen some slots do this before and it work fairly well, in this instance I have to say it’s a bit of a letdown. The appearance of the game itself is basic and not very impressive in my opinion, with a lack of detail and animations. The features are also simple and largely ineffective with the only one that I really like being the expanding Wild feature. There aren’t enough free spins and the way the Wild symbol works to upgrade symbols just isn’t good enough in my opinion. The only real reason I can see to play this game is to take part in Blueprint’s Jackpot King Deluxe feature which I must admit is pretty good, but there are better slots out there like Deal Or No Deal What’s In Your Box slot if you want to give yourself a chance and getting something out of that. Overall, I’m pretty disappointed and can’t find much of a reason to play Tridentia slot. The RTP is very low and the only chance of a good payout is through the Jackpot feature but that’s not enough of a reason to play it.
