Green Tube have released a new slot called Wild Country and no, you won’t get any marks for guessing what the theme is. This particular slot is all about the Free Spins Bonus as that’s the only feature on offer here, which may or may not be a bad thing, but I’ll explain more on that later on.
So yes, the theme here is about Wild animals somehwere in either the United States or most likely Canada. You have animals like Moose and Eagles as some of the symbols in the game, and it reminds me quite a lot of Kamchatka slot which I reviewed not too long ago. The graphics are quite nice and there’s some pretty good detail so overall I’m happy with the appearance of the slot. You have a 5×4 layout here which offers a generous 1024 ways to win which is nice to see. Simply spin the reels to try and get a winning combination from left to right using the base symbols which are ranked in ascending order as follows:

Wild Country Slot Bonuses and Features
Interesting, the Bonus symbol is the more value symbol in the game in a winning combination of 3, 4 or 5, compared to the Wild symbol which in most slots is often the most valuable or at least joint most valuable. It also serves another purpose though which is to trigger the Free Spins Bonus as I’ll explain in a moment. The Wild symbol is shown as a Green Paw Print and will substitute for all other symbols in a winning combination apart from the Bonus symbol. It only appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 though.
Free Games Bonus. When a slot only has the one bonus feature as in this case, I expect it to be both rewarding and also engaging, perhaps having mini features within it. Without these things, it just makes for a rather boring slot that just isn’t worth your time. In this instance, I’m not quite sure what t think. Let’s start off with how it actually works. As I already mentioned, you need to land 3 or more Bonus symbols anywhere on the reels (although on a payline adjacent to each other is definitely preferable). 3 Bonus symbols will give you 8 free spins, 4 will give you 15 and finally, 5 will give you the maximum 20 free spins. If you manage to land a Wild symbol on reels 2, 3 or 4 during the Bonus, you’ll receive a multiplier of 2x or 3x for any win on that spin, whether it uses the Wild symbol or not. This is quite surprising as usually this type of feature has to include the symbol that offers the multiplier. In order to make things a bit more interesting, you can actually retrigger the Free Spins Bonus by landing an additional Bonus symbol. You’ll be given the same number of free spins for 3, 4 or 5 symbols landing anywhere, but you can also win 5 free spins by just landing 2 Bonus symbols on the screen.
Conclusion
Wild Country slot is the latest game from Green Tube and I was quite excited to review it. They’ve made some pretty popular slots in the past and I had high hopes for this one. I wouldn’t go so far as to say I’m disappointed, but I do feel like they could have done more with this game. Like I say, when you only have the one Bonus in a game it needs to be entertaining and provide some good rewards. I don’t think there’s really enough in this one to make it that good. It’s great you can retrigger it but a lot of slots are doing that now, and adding a multiplier is good but it’s only up to a maximum of 3x which isn’t amazing. Fortunately, the symbols are of pretty high value which does help and you can technically get some big rewards out of Wild Country slot, but they’re typically few and far between.
