It’s an exciting game because of the huge payouts available, but that doesn’t necessarily make for a good slot. After all, you might as well just play the lottery if you’re just looking for that massive win. So is this one worth checking out?
Well the appearance of the game might not make you think so. It’s pretty basic and focuses purely on the reels. There are 5 of these along with a 6th reel showing multipliers, but more on that later. You have a total of 25 paylines, and your job is to get a winning combination along one of these from left to right to get a win. You do this using the base symbols which are as follows, ranked in ascending order based on their value:

These symbols in Wild Gladiator slot will pay you a cash reward when in a winning combination, but there’s another symbol you should be aware of too. This is the Scatter symbol, shown as the great colosseum itself. It’s used to trigger the main Bonus in the game as we’ll see shortly. There’s also a Wild symbol which plays quite a special role in this game and is shown by a centurion. It’s worth the equivalent to the Man symbol and will substitute for all other symbols in a winning combination apart from the Scatter symbol. It has a special property because, if it lands in the centre position of a reel, it will expand to fill up the entire reel.

Multiplier Reel. One of the special features in this game is the reel on the far right. This reel doesn’t show any normal symbols, instead showing multipliers up to a value of 10x.

Conclusion
Wild Gladiator slot from Pragmatic Play is exactly that, wild. It has the potential to offer some massive payouts using the Wild symbols, up to 100,000x your total bet in fact. Now of course that won’t happen very often, but the Super Wild Bonus can still pay very well even with fewer Wild symbols (remember, the Man symbol is just a valuable), or a lower multiplier. The Free Spins Bonus is very simple but you can win an unlimited number of free spins. So what do I think? Well, it’s an exciting game because of the potential but unfortunately lacks the entertaining features that make slots fun to play for longer periods of time.
