Wild Warriors Slot

[usr 2.5]

  • Another simple slot with a nice design and just one Bonus
  • Use the Bonus to collect Free Spins and Giant symbols
  • Can work pretty well but isn’t exactly original

Wild Warriors slot comes to you from Playson with a simple way to win some money. Trigger the Free Spins Bonus and use giant symbols to get some extra payouts. In particular, the top 4 paying symbols in the game (apart from Scatter and Wild) are all giant symbols during the Free Spins Bonus and with up to 25 free spins on offer you can see the appeal. But does it work as well as it sounds?

First, let’s take a look at the design. The graphics here are quite nice and I like the look of the symbols, but it is pretty basic so it you prefer something more flashy you probably want to look elsewhere. The theme doesn’t seem to have much of a story so I’m not sure what’s going on with that, but for many that’s not an issue. As I mentioned, the gameplay is pretty simple overall. You have a 5×3 reel setup with 30 paylines and your job is to get a winning combination along one of these with the help of either giant symbols or Wilds if you are lucky. I’ve listed the base symbols below, ranked in ascending order based on their value for you:

  • Jack or Queen (lowest value)
  • King or Ace
  • Panther
  • Blue Warrior
  • Mint Warrior
  • Green Warrior
  • Red Warrior (highest value)

Wild Warriors Slot Bonuses and Features

Interestingly, the symbols from Jack up to and including the Mint Warrior pay only for combinations of 3, 4 and 5. However, The highest 2 warrior symbols also pay for a combination of just 2, albeit a relatively small amount. There are another 2 symbols in the game as you might expect, and these are the Scatter and Wild symbols. The Scatter symbol is used for the main Bonus of the game, but also pays for 7, 8 and 9 of them to make a win. The Wild symbol is by far the most valuable symbol in the game and pays for wins of 2, 3, 4 and 5 in a combination. It also substitutes for all other symbols that form a win apart from the Scatter symbol.

Free Spins Bonus. This is the one and only bonus in Wild Warriors slot and is triggered by 7, 8 or 9 Scatter symbols appearing on reels 2, 3 and 4. If you manage to get 7 you’ll be awarded with 8 free spins, 8 of them will give you 12 free spins and 9 will give you the maximum number of 25 free spins. There’s more to it than that though, as the warrior symbols appear on the reels as giant symbols. These take up either 2×2 or 3×3 positions and can appear anywhere on the reels. Being the higher value symbols in the game, this can create some nice wins. Wild symbols are still available during the free spins to help out.

Wild Warriors slot from Playson reminds me in many ways of Almighty Reels: Garden Of Persephone slotby Novomatic. It’s simple in terms of both the design and gameplay, offering just one bonus which provides free spins along with giant symbols for better payouts. If you’ve played any of the games in the Almighty Reels series then you probably already know whether you enjoy that type of gameplay. It’s surprisingly popular actually, although I have to say I’m not such a big fan, preferring slots that have a wider range of features myself and even some jackpots. That being said, it works pretty well and the Bonus can provide some nice payouts so if you haven’t tried anything like it already it’s probably worth doing so. Be sure to leave some feedback down below to let others know what you think.

Giant Symbols Work Well But Aren't Original

  • Feature works well.

  • Unoriginal.
  • Would benefit from extra features.
