Big Bass Secrets of the Golden Lake is a medieval themed version of Big Bass. This time our well travelled fisherman has ventured back in time to old England. As this is currently an upcoming release from Pragmatic, full details are unavailable, but we can expect gold fish, an old English theme and in-game enhancements.

Big Bass Day at the Races
Release Date: 7th March 2024
Surprisingly, Big Bass Day at the Races doesn’t have any fish! The popular character is having a day off from fishing and has headed to the race track. Day at the Races is most similar to Amazon Xtreme, with a progressive multiplier reaching up to 50x.
Upon triggering the feature, with either 3 or more scatters, or if country regulations allow, via a bonus buy, you pick a selection of horses which can enhance the value of the bonus. There’s Fixed Horse, which is basically a fixed win value. Extra Man, which adds to the progressive ladder. Remove Lowest Horse, this will take away the lowest collectable value, and Extra Spins. The bonus then starts and plays exactly as you’d expect, but this time the ‘fisherman’ collects horses!

Big Bass Floats My Boat

Floats My Boat is a clever combination of Big Bass slots. It takes the idea of a progressive trail and adds it to the reels, rather than a trail. Each fish symbol that lands in view, whether caught or not, increases the multiplier for that position. If a fish is caught within that position on the reels, the multiplier is added to the value. The multipliers increase across the entire area the longer the free spins go on. As such, Big Bass Floats My Boat is classed by Pragmatic as having Very High volatility.

Big Bass Christmas Bash

As the name suggests, Big Bass Christmas Bash is a Christmas release from Pragmatic. Unusually for a seasonal release, Christmas Bash has a volatility level of Very High. Seasonal releases are usually Medium as the play is expected to dry up after the season.
This time fishing in the icy depths of a deep lake, the slot starts off by catching in-bonus enhancements. These can range from additional free spins, to extra fishermen and progressive level-up boosts.
Once the bonus starts, we have the usual fishing theme, with a progressive trail that leads up to a maximum of 10x. Rockets can also be fired into the lake, turning symbols into fish.
Christmas Bash is complimented by seasonal music and a festive theme, and is the second Christmas themed Big Bass slot.

Big Bass Halloween

This is the first Halloween inspired slot in the Big Bass series. Unlike other Big Bass slots, Halloween doesn’t offer any pre-bonus enhancements, but it does have a progressive trail up to a maximum of 10x. Like other seasonal themed slots from Pragmatic, the music and animation is very fitting with the theme. Halloween has an eerie sound track and bloodthirsty artwork.

Big Bass Hold and Spinner Megaways

Hold and Spinner Megaways is the Megaways enhanced version of the original Hold and Spinner. The Megaways has been done slightly different from many other Megaways slots, with three levels of sliding symbols, with at least one level active in every spin. There is also a progressive ladder that has the potential to reach a maximum of 10x.
There is no particular theme to Hold and Spinner Megaways, other than his regular fishing shenanigans. However, the Megaways can reach a maximum of 147,456, with cascading symbols to further increase the wins and potential catches during the bonus.

Big Bass Amazon Xtreme
Release Date: 19th June 2023
The fisherman has headed to the Amazon for this adventure. Big Bass Amazon Xtreme is a personal favourite of mine and features a progressive trail up to a maximum of 50x. The multipliers in-between the 50x are also incredible high for a Big Bass slot, with 10x, 20x, 30x and 40x to pass through before even thinking about what the 50x could pay!
Prior to the start of the bonus, pre-game enhancements are awarded via picking a selection of vases. These can award extra spins, sticky fish, extra fishermen and a chance to remove the lower valued fish.
The bonus itself plays out as a regular Big Bass slot would, however there is the addition of the Waterfall which can wash down additional fish to be caught, plus banana bombs. These explode, revealing more fish.
The base-game also has some mini bonuses, with a fishing net cast randomly to collect fish. These are then multiplied by a minimum of 2x, up to a maximum of 50x.
