- A creative, fun sequel to the original Gemix
- Cluster wins can lead to a number of features
- Improved maximum win but a lower RTP
Gemix 2 slot is a sequel from PlayNGo to, you guessed it, Gemix 1, or just Gemix. It’s a cluster slot with some very creative ideas and it does stand out compared to most other games out there. There are some differences in this game, though nothing major so don’t expect any big surprises. You have here a 7×7 grid and being a cluster slot, you need a win with at least 5 adjacent matching base symbols which are as follows, ranked in ascending order based on their value:
- Blue Gem
- Cyan Gem
- Purple Gem
- Green Gem
- Brown Gem
- Pink Gem
- Red Gem
- Gold Star

Gemix 2 Slot Bonuses and Features
Crystal Charge. If you manage to get rid of 25 symbols, this feature is triggered. You will then activate 1 of the following, unless you get 50 symbols in which case all of the following are activated:
- Nova Blast. This will cause 1 symbol to explode, removing all adjacent symbols for new ones to fall in.
- Crystal Warp. This will transform a number of symbols.
- Light Beam. A randomly chosen symbol will shoot out light beams, transforming any symbols it hits.
- Chain Lightning. This will connect 2 corner symbols with lightning, with all symbols hit transformed into one of the corner symbols.
World Pattern. This game has different worlds, and you need to clear 2 patterns on each world to move to the next one. After clearing a world, a merchant appears to give you a chance at the world bonus, a set figure determined by how many wins have been achieved in the world.
Work Wilds. Up to 4 guardians can appear in the game at random, each with their own wild feature. The Knight Guardian offers up to 2 mega wilds with multipliers, the miner brings up to 10 wilds, the princess has w ild that can span from edge to edge and the wizard guardian gives you up to 5 sticky wilds for that spin.
Gemix 2 slot from PlayNGo really shows off the developer’s creativity with a game that really stands out, apart from its predecessor of course which is in fact very similar. You have a bit of a new look with an additional world, and some improved payout potential with a max win now at 7500x, though the RTP does suffer a little. If you’ve played the original before and didn’t enjoy it, then don’t bother with this one. However, if you do enjoy the older one this may be a small improvement for you, and if you haven’t played either I would still suggest giving one of them a go as it’s a fun cluster slot that pays fairly well.
