- A very fun slot with a good range of features
- Pit the Knights together to try and win extra rewards
- 3×3 layout makes for simple gameplay
Queen’s Day Tilt slot is a new game that may appear very simple having just a 3×3 grid to work with, but it has a bunch of fun features which include unlimited multipliers, free spins and cascading symbols. The design is entertaining, focused on medieval times when knights would battle, and they do so in this slot too to get you some extra rewards, but more on that later. All you need to do is spin the reels and try to get a win using the base symbols. These are as follows, ranked in ascending order based on their value:
- Clubs or Diamonds (lowest value)
- Hearts and Spades
- Ram Shield or Rose Shield
- Lion Shield
- Blue Knight or Red Knight (highest value)
The interesting thing of course is that these symbols only need to form a match with 2 or 3 of them, horizontally or vertically, significantly less than we normally see because there are so few reels. There’s also a Wild symbol which will substitute for all other symbols in a winning combination, yes that’s right, all of them. It’s the joint most valuable symbol in the game, and they are removed when they are the only symbol left. Lastly, this is a cascading slot meaning that whenever you get a win, all the symbols that formed part of that win will be removed. To replace them, new symbols will fall in from above.
Queen’s Day Tilt Slot Bonuses and Features
The Ruler. The Ruler feature can be triggered at any random time on a non-winning spin. A Wild symbol will be placed randomly on the reels to try and help you get a win.
Tilt. This feature can trigger randomly when there is only one symbol left. The symbol will then be removed so that you can trigger the Free Spins Bonus.
Queen’s Day – Free Spins Bonus. As mentioned, this is triggered when there are no symbols left on the screen and you’ll be given 5 free spins. There are a few special features during the Bonus that makes it quite exciting. For a start, there are no low-value symbols which is always a welcome feature. Furthermore, if you get a win on both Knight symbols, you will increase a multiplier which applies to all wins by 1x. This starts at 2x when the Bonus begins, and can increase infinitely. While you might be thinking it can’t go very high as there are a limited number of free spins, you can retrigger the Bonus by once again clearing the grid. That’s not enough though is it. Let’s add even more features! The previous features I mentioned, The Ruler and Tilt, will always be triggered. In other words, on non-winning spins, a Wild symbol will always be placed on the reels, and when there’s only one symbol left you will also have it removed to retrigger the Bonus. Not bad huh?
Game of Accession. This is like a small Free Spins Bonus and is triggered when you get a win on both Knight symbols. You’ll be given one free spin which has no low-value symbols. You also get to predict who will win in a battle, the winner being the Knight which created the most winning symbols during the free spins. This will lead to you either doubling your win if you guess right, get a retrigger if it’s a tie, or just collect if you are wrong.
Conclusion
Queen’s Day Tilt slot from Play N Go may have a weird name, but it has a bunch of features which are, for the most part, very impressive. Some of these will just trigger randomly under certain conditions, but then will always trigger during the Free Spins Bonus. It also provides multipliers that can increase limitlessly, meaning you can win up to 5,000x your total bet on a single spin. It’s not the highest we’ve ever seen, but it’s pretty impressive and the Bonus as a whole tends to be very rewarding in our experience. I like how they’ve used the theme to make the game fun too, with battles between knights to earn even better payouts if you’re lucky. I found this slot to be very fun and rewarding, while being simple to play too. I highly recommend it and think you should try it out. Be sure to check out some of Play N Go’s other slots here.
