- A slot that uses Free Spins with different options to choose from
- Features Megaways for lots of ways to win
- Not a bad idea but slot is very similar to others
Temple of Treasures slot is a new game from Blueprint which uses Megaways to offer up to an impressive 117,649 ways to win. It does this using a large number of reels and with the Free Spins Bonus as I’ll discuss shortly.
The theme here is pretty common and not so original. It’s another Aztec-style theme with the types of symbols you can find on thousands of other slots out there and decent, but not exceptional graphics. Moving on, you have a 7x8x8x8x8x7 reel layout which are used to position the symbols. To get a win, you must land the base symbols in the right way from left to right which will give you cash reward. These base symbols are as follows, ranked in ascending order based on their value:
- 9, 10 or Jack (lowest value)
- Queen, King or Ace
- Bird Symbol
- Mayan (highest value)
These symbols will give you a cash reward when in the right combination, but there are other symbols in the game to help you get some better payouts. One of these is the Wild symbol, a common symbol found in almost every slot. This one will substitute for all other symbols in a winning combination apart from the Scatter symbol. The Scatter symbol, shown as a temple, is used for the Free Spins Bonus but I’ll come onto that shortly. Finally, there’s a Mystery symbol, something you’ve probably seen before. These symbols will transform into the same symbol which could be anything apart from the Scatter symbol. This should help you get some more payouts.
Temple Of Treasure Slot Bonuses and Features
Cascading Symbol. Temple of Treasure slot uses cascading symbols to help you generate consecutive wins. For those of you who don’t know, this means that any win will destroy the symbols that formed the win, and new symbols will fall in from above. If you get a win with these new symbols, the same will happen again and continue to do so without costing you any extra money.
Free Spins Bonus. Like many Bonuses of this type, you need to land a number of Scatter symbols at the same time anywhere on the reels, 4 to be exact. For every additional Scatter symbol you’ll also get extra free spins. This Bonus is a bit more original because you can choose how many free spins you want to start off with, and the minimum number of Megaways. You can choose one of the following options:
- 15 Free Spins with a minimum of 324 Megaways and an unlimited win multiplier.
- 10 Free Spins with a minimum of 2304 Megaways and an unlimited win multiplier.
- 5 Free Spins with a minimum of 10,000 Megaways and an unlimited win multiplier.
- A Mystery number of Free Spins with a mystery number of Megaways and an unlimited win multiplier.
The mystery option could give you a combination of any of the free spins and minimum number of Megaways, so you could be lucky and get 15 free spins with 10,000 Megaways as a minimum, but you could be unlucky and get just 5 free spins with a minimum number of 324 Megways.
Temple of Treasure slot from Blueprint Gaming is a new game to use Megaways to give you lots of ways to win. It has a pretty unique reel setup, but the most interesting feature is that you can pick a number of free spins depending on the number of Megaways you want, or you can just go for the mystery choice if you fancy your chances. I like the idea, but it’s certainly not original. In fact, we’ve seen quite a few slots do something very similar in the not so distant past like Buffalo Rising slot. In a way I don’t want to knock it because it’s a pretty good slot, but Blueprint have failed to offer anything new here and that’s a real shame.
