The Pig Wizard slot is an action-packed, high energy game that, just from looking at it, tells you it has a lot going on. And it certainly does, there are a lot of features in this game that are both engaging and potentially very rewarding but I’ll talk more about these shortly. The design is clearly based on Harry Potter but rather is a spoof, using a pig here as the main character, a Harry Trotter if you like. That’s not to take anything away from the theme though, it’s actually really fun and very well-made.
Speaking of being well-made, one of the things I really like about this slot is the design. It’s full of colour and wonder, with every symbol clearly revolving around magic and all sorts of spells going on in the background. It’s certainly not the cleanest design we’ve ever seen but it does look cool and is likely to draw you in. I have to say I’m not a fan of the background music which gets very irritating after a short period of time but that’s not really a reason to avoid The Pig Wizard slot. When it comes to the gameplay, we have a 5×3 layout with an RTP of just 94.68%, a disappointingly low value. Couple this with the high variance of the game and you can expect to go long periods with very little rewards, but if you stick it out and be patient you may be offered a very large prize indeed. There are 20 paylines here, and the aim of the game is to get a winning combination using the base symbols from left to right along one of the paylines. These base symbols are listed as follows, ranked in ascending order based on their value:

The Wild symbol of course substitutes for all other symbols in a winning combination as well as being the most valuable symbol. It’s also worth noting that the Pig Wizard symbol and the Wild symbol payout for just 2 in a winning combination compared to the other symbols which require a minimum of 3.
The Pig Wizard Slot Bonuses and Features
Magical Map Bonus. This is triggered by 3 Bonus symbols appearing anywhere on reels 1, 3 and 5, allowing you to select a mystery bonus on the magical map. You can win one of the following:
Magical Wild Reels. This can be a very rewarding bonus if you’re lucky as the Pig Wizard will fly onto the screen and select up to 4 reels which will then become random. Don’t expect 4 reels to change every time mind, but if they do you can certainly be looking at a big reward.
Magic Mirror Free Spins. As you probably guessed from the title, this is a bonus where you’ll be awarded free spins and the mystery mirror will pick a random symbol which will be shown in every mirror that comes into view. If you manage to land 3 Bonus symbols during the free spins you’ll be given another 5 free spin.
Trail of Magic. This bonus takes the form of a rather simple board game where you must spin the dice in order to fly around the board and collect either cash, colourful magic potions and crystal ball bonuses. Just be careful of the green potion which will end the game.
Conclusion
The Pig Wizard Slot is a high variance, fun game from Blueprint. There’s quite a lot to like about the game and it will really suit those looking for a big win but who have the patience, and bankroll, required to play the game for long periods of time in order to get the big wins which can certainly be very rewarding. Overall I really like the design which might not have the best graphics you’ve ever seen but it does have some fun animations, especially with the Pig Wizard himself and some good details that help to make the game engaging. There are some nice bonuses here which are enjoyable to play for the most part and can offer some very big rewards for those who are patient.
