100 to 1 Bagatelle

  • A mixture of bookies roulette and bagatelle with awards of up to x100
  • Bet on the standard roulette numbers and watch your odds change as the balls continue to fall
  • Fill your winning number with five balls to be awarded 100/1 odds

100 to 1 Bagatelle combines a traditional roulette table layout with a bagatelle style game playing board, and an odds multiplier paying from 15 times your stake up to 100 times, for the potential of massive wins for relatively small bets.
The first part of 100 to 1 Bagatelle involves placing bets from a minimum of £1, up to a maximum of £50 or £100 depending on your settings, with a maximum win per game of £500, so bets will be capped accordingly. These bets can be split and divided into various sections on the roulette table, using various chip values. Once all bets have been placed, press ‘bet’ to launch the ball. This part of the game is very similar to the other betting terminal machine; Bagatelle with the ball bouncing its way through the pins until it comes to a stop in one of the 37 possible outcomes numbered from 0 to 36. The game uses both screens, with the ball slowly making its way down from the top of the roulette machine, until finally falling through the multiple rows of pins until it reaches the bottom. If no bets cover the final position of the ball, the game ends and you are returned to the start for another go, if you have selected a winning outcome, part two of 100 to 1 Bagatelle commences.

100 to 1 Bagatelle Odds

If you have made a successful bet on the first stage of the 100 to 1 Bagatelle board, your odds will then be determined by the rapid launching of 50 balls which will land in multiple positions across the majority of the numbers. Your odds will be determined by the amount of balls that land in your winning number.

  • 0 balls pays 70/1
  • 1 ball pays 15/1
  • 2 balls pays 20/1
  • 3 balls pays 30/1
  • 4 balls pays 50/1
  • 5 balls pays 100/1

Once all of the 100 to 1 Bagatelle balls have come to a rest, you will be paid one of the above odds which will then be multiplied by your stake. For example, a £1 bet with no balls will return £71; £70 plus your winning stake back.
The maximum stake on a single number is £4.80, for a maximum win of £500. The minimum stake is 20p.

The gameplay of 100 to 1 Bagatelle by Inspired Gaming is very slow, with each stage drawing the game out for longer periods than regular bookies roulette games. The odds are similar to the Coral and Ladbrokes game Golden Odds Roulette, but uses a different, more tedious playing style.
To help with your betting, 100 to 1 Bagatelle has a few betting options that will allow you to cover your numbers more efficiently; Perfect Bet will cover your favourite number plus all splits and corners around that number. To deactivate this feature simply press the ‘perfect bet’ button again. Double Up; a double up bet places all stakes again and is only available on stakes of £10 and less. Add Again; Available after a Double Up bet. The Add Again bet will place the Double Up bet again.

The return to the player is 96.49%, but that is over the long term play. You will likely find you will have large swings in either low odds or high odds during your game so you may prefer to play either standard bookies roulette, or 100 to 1 Roulette, that way the odds are stable throughout the entire game.

100 to 1 Bagatelle is available to play in Betfred and William Hill betting shops.

100 to 1 Bagatelle Readers Review

100 to 1 Bagatelle is a William Hill FOBT roulette game paying odds of up to 100/1 with bets from £1. The concept of 100 to 1 Bagatelle follows a similar path to that of the original Bagatelle roulette game in both William Hill and Betfred betting shops, with a standard looking European roulette layout and numbers from 0 to 36.
Chips are placed on the betting table, with all the usual betting options available; straight-up, splits, corners and outside bets. The real difference comes from the game that follows once the bet button has been pressed. 100 to 1 Bagatelle will launch the ball to the top of the screen, it will then begin a slow journey bouncing its way through a series of pins as the roulette numbers scroll along the bottom. Once it has reached the base of the lower screen and landed in one of the 37 numbers part two of 100 to 1 Bagatelle begins.

If the ball failed to land in one of the numbers you covered, the game is over and you are returned to the original betting layout. If you were lucky enough to hit one of your numbers, the very slow part of 100 to 1 Bagatelle begins.
Your winning number will be illuminated and a series of balls will be launched simultaneously, all of which work their way down the screen filling the numbers at the bottom. The outcome of your bet is determined by the number of balls that land in your number, with none up to five balls paying varying odds.

  • 0 balls pays: 70/1
  • 1 ball pays: 15/1
  • 2 balls pay: 20/1
  • 3 balls pay: 30/1
  • 4 balls pay: 50/1
  • 5 balls pay: 100/1

As you can see, 1 to 3 balls pays worse odds than regular bookies roulette, however 0, 4 and 5 all pay more. Your odds are slightly better on original bookies roulette, however you can get a good run of numbers and higher odds on 100 to 1 Bagatelle which will pay far more than your standard game. The major downside to 100 to 1 Bagatelle and the reason it is not played as much as some of William Hills other betting terminal games is the extremely slow pace of the game. From the moment you press bet, you need to wait a while for the first ball to decide whether you win or not, then part two takes slightly longer with another waiting game as the FOBT determines your odds. Not many roulette machine players stick to this one for the long term, which is a shame as it does have potential as an interesting and unique way of awarding up to x100 your stake, if only it was a bit faster.

I’m surprised there isn’t an online version of 100 to 1 Bagatelle as it would convert quite very well to the online environment, however in its current form it holds limited appeal, especially with the new range of bonus roulette games appearing on the bookies FOBT’s, many of which are able to pay 100/1 in various interesting ways, all superior to this.

A Very Unique FOBT Roulette Concept.
